At Muse, we believe that peace and a better world can come with a greater understanding between people - whoever they are, wherever they live.
We can all get closer to this understanding by sharing knowledge and experience of other cultures through stories. Getting to know others and how they live strengthens our common humanity.
As our contribution to this endeavour, Muse is launching a new series, called Muse Asian Stories, which specialises in stories rooted in Asian cultures written in the English language.
The first book in the series is a powerful and provocative collection of short stories by one of Hong Kong's leading writers of fiction, David T. K. Wong. The collection is called Chinese Stories in Times of Change, with an introduction by Frances Wood, Curator of the Chinese Collections in the British Library.
